Side Character archetypes is a heroic fantasy resource list for GMs to help prep games in 15 minutes or less with a few dice rolls, trope selection and challenge pool creation.

Grimwild is a game about a party of adventurers undertaking a quest, delving into a dungeon, or exploring the wilderness with messy consequences. Even though the tips are for Grimwild in particular, the advice is setting-agnostic and can quickly be adapted for any similar RPG.
