Cold Open - The Chase

Bang! We open on a circle of investigators in the midst of some major trouble.

Their footsteps clatter along the cobblestone streets and alleyways of Newfaire as they are in hot pursuit... by someone. Who is it? What does the circles possess that this opposing faction wants so badly?

This Candela Obscura supplement allows a GM to run a quick one-shot after discussing "The Rules" of the game (pages 1-4 of the Candela Obscura core rulebook) and discussing character creation (pp 19-24.) We open in media res to show an urgent situation in the "typical day of a Candela Investigator", ala cold opens from shows like Indiana Jones or James Bond. Along the way you have a guided checklist of rules to teach and page references.
